OSCOHTECH Admission Form for 2018/2019 Session

Authorities of the Ogun State College Of Health Technology (OSCOHTECH), llese- Ijebu, is inviting suitably candidates to their 2018/2019 academic session National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes admission exercise.

OSCOHTECH General Admission Requirements.

1. The admission requirements for any of our National Diploma (ND) Programme is a minimum of five (5) credits O/level passes, in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physic and Biology obtain in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings. However, all applicants for National Diploma (ND) programme should also endeavour to obtain JAMB form.
2. Details of each programme requirements are explicitly stated below. Applicants are advised to carefully read the requirements before making their application as error in the choice of course by applicants will not be tolerated.
3. Applicants awaiting results are free to apply. Such applicants should indicate AR in the column for O/Level Results on the Application Form. However, the O/Level Results being awaited must be ready before admission exercise as no student would be considered for admission without O/Level Results.
4. The requirements for admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes includes; National Diploma (ND) not lower than Lower Credit in relevant course/programme in addition to the Good O/Level requirements stated in (1) above.

SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH

1	ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN	3 Years	Five Passes which must include (3) Credit Passes in any of the following subject, English Language, Biology, Health Science, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing and any other subject, Mathematics would be an added advantage.
2	WATER AND SANITATION TECHNOLOGY National Diploma (ND) in Water and Sanitation Technology	2 Years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography/Biology and one relevant subject at WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings.
3	NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) in Environmental Health Technology	2 Years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than two (2) sittings.
4	HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) in Environmental Health Technology	2 Years	Holders of Good National Diploma (ND) in Environmental Health Technology with at least Lower Credit. In addition to the five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics

SCHOOL OF COMMUNITY HEALTH

2	DIPLOMA IN NUTRITION & DIETETICS	2 Years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Geography and Chemistry from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings.
3	COMMUNITY HEALTH (ND)	3 Years	(A.) Holder of WASCE, SSCE, NECO or GCE O/L with (5) credit at not more than two sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. (B.) Junior Community Heath Extension Worker (JCHEW) with (2) years post qualification experience in addition to the above requirement mentioned and Applicant must be registered with the Community Health Practitioner Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and Possess a valid Practice License.
4	DIPLOMA IN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY	3 Years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry at the SSCE by WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings.

SCHOOL OF DENTAL HEALTH SCIENCES

2	NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND), DENTAL TECHNOLOGY	2 Years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings.
3	NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND), DENTAL THERAPY	2 Years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings. In addition to the above requirements, Diploma in Dental Surgery Techniques is also accepted for admission to ND II, Dental Therapy Programme.
4	HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND), DENTAL TECHNOLOGY	2 Years	Holders of National Diploma (ND) in Dental Technology with at least lower credit. In addition Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings.
5	HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND), DENTAL THERAPY	2 Years	Holders of National Diploma (ND) in Dental Therapy with at least lower credit. In addition Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings.

SCHOOL OF HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

3	DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER SCIENCE	2 Years	Four (4) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other subject at SSCE from WAEC and NECO in not more than two (2) sittings..
4	DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL SOCIAL WORK	2 years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other two (2) subject in each from the following Government/History, CRK/IRK, Health Science/Chemistry/Physics, Economic/Commerce/Geography at not more than two (2) sitting.
5	NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND), SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT	2 Years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other two (2) subject in each from the following Government, History, Chemistry, Physics, Economic, Commerce, Geography in not more than two (2) sitting
6	NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND), HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT	2 Years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry/Physics and any other relevant subject at SSCE from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB. in not more than two (2) sitting
7	HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND), HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (HIM)	2 Years	Holders of National Diploma (ND) in Health Information Management. In addition to the five (5) ‘O’ Level requirements as stated in 6 above. In addition to the specific entry requirement are; (A.) National Diploma/Professional Diploma (Technician) Certificate in Health Information Management with a minimum of Lower Credit. (B.) National Diploma/Professional Diploma (Technician) Professional License to Practice by HRORBN (C.) Evidence of Completion of One Year Relevant Work Experience in an accredited Health Institution approved by the Board for National Diploma Candidate Only. (D.) Candidates with a Pass (2.00-2.49) at the ND Level with two (2) or more year Post ND Cognate Work experience.

SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING

2	COMMUNITY OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN	3 Years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level credits in English Language, Mathematics and Biology and any other two subject from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sitting.

3	HEALTH ASSISTANT PROGRAMME	2 Years	Three (3) ‘O’ Level Credits from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and a pass in English Language in not more than two (2) sitting.
4	HEALTH TECHNICIAN PROGRAMME	3 Years	(1) Four (4) ‘O’ Level credits in English Language, Biology Mathematics and any other relevant subject. (2) Holder of Certificate in Health Assistant will be admitted into year 2 of the programme.
5	NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) PSYCHOSOCIAL REHABILITATION	2 Years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit Passes in Mathematics, English Language, Biology and any of the following: Economics / Commerce, Government, Geography at not more than two sittings from SSCE/NECO/WACE

SCHOOL OF PHARMACY AND MEDICAL DIAGNOSTIC SCIENCE

4	NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) MEDICAL IMAGING	2 years	Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB in not more than two (2) sittings.

How to Apply for OSCOHTECH Admission.

2018/19 Application Form is now on sale at ₦11, 000.00 only. Prospective students are to obtain their forms online after making payment of ₦11, 000.00 only through the POS machine situated at the College Bursary OR via WEB using ATM card (strictly cashless payment).

Payment is to be made using your ATM Card via OS machine situated at the College Bursary

For payment through POS

1. Proceed to the College Bursary to make your payment, after which you will be issued Application Pin
2. With the application pin, proceed to application.oscohtechilese.edu.ng
3. Click on Continue Application if you have already initiated the application process online OR Start New Application, if you have not initiated the application process
4. You are to use the details on the Application Pin to continue with your application process
5. Enter the transaction details i.e. the Transaction ID and the Payment Pin
6. Click on submit to continue with application process

1. After choosing WEB as your payment option
2. Proceed to the next page by clicking on Submit button
3. Click on Pay button to be redirected to Unified Payment Gateway for the payment
4. Click on Pay With Card
5. Supply your ATM card details and click on Pay
6. An OTP (One-Time-Password) will be sent to the phone number you registered with the account
7. For MasterCard users, you will be required to Choose the method you wish to receive the OTP for this transaction and click submit
8. Enter the OTP in the space provided and click on submit
9. Upon successful payment, you will be directed to a Success Page

About OSCOHTECH.

The Ogun State College of Health Technology, Ilese-Ijebu was established on 28th September, 1976 mainly to train middle—level manpower for the delivery of primary health care. Thus becoming the first post-secondary educational institution in the State.

In April 2006, the Governor of the State consequent upon the passage of a bill establishing the College by the State House of Assembly graciously assented the bill into law. Thus, upgrading the College to a full Polytechnic status. The College programmes/courses are regulated by both National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) as well as various professional health Boards/Councils which makes our training unique and holistic.
